The Consignment Storekeeper is responsible for ordering, receiving, verifying, labeling, issuing and distributing long term consignment items.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
1.Order Consignment items • Receive and Control replenishment and New Consignment requests from different departments and assign them to the concerned purchasing agent to be ordered. 2.Receive Consignment items • Receive all long term Consignment purchase orders and coordinate receiving with concerned suppliers. • Receive long term consignment items physically, perform data entry on system and print corresponding label. • Control the near expired items and manage the “FEFO” in coordination with sub-stores and with purchasing departments when needed. 3.Distribute Consignment items • Deliver the consignment goods with the labels to the concerned end users. • Participate in the follow-up of the undelivered consignment purchase orders and pending requests. • Participate in the collection of data and preparation of status reports related to the purchasing activities. 4. Perform Consignment items Inventory • Perform periodic consignment inventory for all long term consignment items available at the Hospital in coordination with the suppliers and end users every 2 months. • Declare and follow-up on any non-conformity. 5.Participate in Hospital inventories • Participate in counting supplies at departments/units and control the expiry date. • Participate in Data Entry inventories. 6.Maintain links with Accounting department • Coordinate with the Accounting department to finalize the supplier consignment items invoices.
• University degree (BA) or equivalent in Business Administration. • Minimum of 2 years work experience in similar field. • Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic skills. French is a plus. • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and HIS system).
• Knowledge in inventory process. • Knowledge in cost accounting.
