On Standby for Every Step

Sunday, February 08, 2026

On February 8, 2026, the Rolling Half Marathon brought together athletes and runners for a scenic 21.1 KM race around the coastal city of Jbeil. As participants made their final push toward the finish line at the iconic Jbeil Fishermen’s Port, the LAU Mobile Clinic was stationed on-site to provide medical support.

As an official medical provider of the Marathon, in collaboration with the Beirut Marathon Association and alongside representatives and care providers from LAU Medical Center – Rizk Hospital and LAU Medical Center – Saint John’s Hospital, our team ensured immediate medical assistance was readily available when needed.

Large-scale sporting events require accessible and responsive healthcare services. By positioning the Mobile Clinic at the finish line, we were able to promptly assess and assist participants after completing the race. A total of 19 runners received on-site checkups and care. The Mobile Clinic also offered free medical consultations, health screenings, and essential medical services for runners and their entourage.

We remain committed to supporting community initiatives that encourage active lifestyles while ensuring safety and wellbeing remain a priority.
