1. Set up examination rooms, Keep it tidy, ensuring that all equipment is ready. 2.Maintain a rigorous control of infection according to the Infection Control Policy.
3.Double check the room supplies (Daily checked by the Practical Nurse).
4.Perform Equipment Quality Control as per the below modalities:
For CT: Perform daily tube warm-up and fast calibration to confirm the adequate functioning of the CT machine.
For X-ray: Perform daily machine warm-up to confirm the adequate functioning of the X-ray machine and monthly Quality Control.
For Mammography: Perform weekly and monthly quality control on Mammography machine and advantage window.
For BMD: Perform daily Quality Control to confirm the adequate functioning of the BMD machine
4. Screen patients as per the assigned modality and as per the below questionnaires:
For CT: “Patient Questionnaire Preliminary to contrast IV Injection” and “Intravenous Iodinated contrast Injection Consent” (where applicable) and document information on the questionnaire.
For X-ray: Question female patients for pregnancy and document LMP on the system.
For Mammography: Fill in the “Mammography Questionnaire”.
For BMD: Fill in the “BMD Questionnaire” and document medicines taken.
TS or BS equivalent in Radiologic Science
LT in Radiologic Science is preferable
Previous experience as Radiologic technologist:
For CT & XR: Minimum 1 year experience
For Mammography & BMD: Minimum 1 year experience
