DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

- Implement quality-related policies and procedures and monitor staff compliance.
- Compile statistical data and prepare narrative reports summarizing quality improvement findings.
- Submit reports to the Performance Improvement Committee and other committees as assigned.
- Provide education and training to hospital staff regarding quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, performance measurement, and quality improvement methodologies and tools.
- Assist with monitoring and follow-up of unusual occurrences, incidents, and patient safety events.
- Utilize appropriate performance improvement tools and techniques to identify problems, analyze causes, and design action plans.
- Coordinate hospital readiness activities for accreditation and regulatory surveys.
- Conduct gap analyses against accreditation standards and regulatory requirements and follow up on corrective action plans.
- Participate in mock surveys, tracers, departmental assessments, and accreditation preparation activities.
- Coordinate quality improvement projects (QIPs) and monitor progress toward established goals and objectives.
- Assist departments in developing performance improvement plans and monitor their effectiveness.
- Facilitate data collection, analysis, trending, benchmarking, and reporting of quality and patient safety indicators.
- Monitor compliance with departmental and organizational quality indicators and recommend corrective actions when required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in related healthcare field

3 years of experience in similar position
-
Valid training in quality , patient safety principles and accreditation standards.
