Ectropion

Ectropion is outward turning of the eyelid making it move away from the eyeball. Patients with ectropion can complain of chronic tearing, redness, and irritation of the eyes. The incidence of ectropion increases with age. It can be corrected with a simple surgery that is effective in restoring the normal position and function of the eyelid.
