DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

 

 

1. Receiving and Inspection

 

• Ensure received goods are checked against the purchase order and delivery documents.

• Verify quantities, specifications, batch numbers, expiry dates, and condition of goods.

• Ensure discrepancies, damaged goods, and shortages are reported and properly documented.

• Ensure received items are correctly entered into SAP and assigned to the appropriate storage location.

• Coordinate with Procurement and Finance regarding receiving and invoice discrepancies.

 

2. Warehouse and Store Management

 

• Supervise the organization and cleanliness of the Main Store and related storage areas.

• Ensure materials are stored according to their category, type, storage requirements, and SAP classification.

• Maintain proper identification and labeling of materials.

• Ensure appropriate use of FIFO/FEFO principles.

• Monitor storage capacity and recommend improvements to the warehouse layout.

• Ensure restricted or sensitive items are properly controlled.

• Monitor housekeeping, safety, and security within the storage areas.

 

3. Inventory Control

 

• Monitor stock levels and ensure appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.

• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, non-moving, near-expiry, and expired items.

• Coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventories.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure all stock movements are properly recorded in SAP.

• Monitor negative stock, incorrect batches, and other SAP inventory issues.

• Prepare inventory reports and provide explanations for significant variances.

 

4. Requisition and Distribution

 

• Control replenishment from the Main Store.

• Monitor consumption and stock discrepancies by mini store.

• Establish clear accountability for staff responsible for each mini store.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  

Bachelor degree in Business Management or equivalent. Master’s Degree is a plus.

At least 8 years of experience in similar position.
