DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments efficiently while optimizing the physician's schedule.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records accurately in the clinic's electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate registration and billing.
- Maintain, organize, file, and retrieve patient medical records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable privacy policies.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow by coordinating with physicians and clinical staff, notifying providers of patient arrivals, and communicating any appointment delays to patients.
- Prepare patient files and required documentation prior to consultations and procedures.
- Assist patients with completing required registration forms and obtaining necessary consents.
- Process appointment reminders, cancellations, and follow-up bookings.
- Respond to patient inquiries in person, by phone, or via email, escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding referrals, laboratory requests, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
- Adhere to clinic policies, infection control procedures, patient confidentiality standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Bilingual communication skills (English and Arabic). French is a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
