The Division of Pediatrics promotes the health and wellbeing of children, families, and their respective communities through excellence in care, education, and advocacy. The division is staffed by clinician-educators all of whom were recruited for their interest in practicing and teaching pediatrics.
Our mission is to provide the best child care within the most comfortable and welcoming environment. We are focused on establishing fulfilling relationships with the parents of children, so there can be team-spirit and joint partnership for the care which they receive. Our nursing staff is highly experienced and educated and knows how to establish a well-founded repertoire with children, ensuring a unique dynamic relationship between doctors and parents.
Our vision is to expand our pediatric service to 30 beds, alongside an increased nursing and pediatric staff.
We also are looking into the Integration of OPD with outpatient subspecialty clinics that would include (Neurology, ADHD, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Obesity, and expansion of the pediatric emergency department).
In our Department, education is and always will be a major focus, providing interns, residents, fellow colleagues, and health care professionals the constant opportunity to learn.
At the Pediatrics Department in LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital, we aim at providing the best quality of care, not only to the children, but also to the family as a whole. Our well-coordinated, full service and multidisciplinary team, works with utmost professionalism and devotion. We are partners in your child’s health and well-being.
